Things Babies Enjoy Most When They’re In The Womb!

It's a little-known fact that babies have a favorite time of day while they're still in the womb. The most talked-about time is usually when they first arrive and then leave, but what about the time when they are busy growing? Why not take a look at the things moms could be doing that babies enjoy most when they are still in the womb?

MOM'S VOICE

According to a study by The American Journal of Fetal Medicine, the baby's favorite sound of all is… YOUR VOICE! That's right: from the moment you get pregnant, you're your baby's first love.

Your baby loves hearing your voice! The baby can hear you when you talk to her and sing to her. It's so special for the baby to hear your voice!

Your voice stimulates their senses and promotes brain development.

MOM'S LAUGHTER

The happiness hormones released when mom feels good and are enjoying benefits the baby immediately, so make as many positive moments as possible.

EXERCISE

When moms exercise regularly, their babies' hearts develop better and are stronger. The key to selecting the ideal exercises during pregnancy is to make sure they are safe, appropriate, and doctor-approved. Exercise causes your body to release endorphins. It relieves your anxiety and makes you feel better within.

TOUCH

Touch is a beautiful thing. Babies begin developing touch receptors around week 8 of gestation, but in order for those receptors to work properly and pick up on the touch of others, babies need to be big enough. At around 20 weeks, they are big enough to feel your touch from the outside! During this period, they can enjoy tender belly rubs from their mommy or daddy. Even if it doesn't seem like they notice now, touching your baby while they are in the womb will help bond with them even before they are born!

SWEET FOODS

At week 13-15 of pregnancy, babies learn to recognize different flavors. Your amniotic fluid tastes like the food you eat, and newborns ingest it to become accustomed to new flavors. Because it predisposes them to breast milk, babies have a strong preference for sweeter foods.

The Sweet Sound of MUSIC

Babies love to hear music. You may have heard someone say that their baby kicked like crazy when they played music for them — and it's true! Your baby's ears form at about 10 weeks, and by week 16, they can hear a lot of things outside the womb.

They love hearing music from their mom's playlist. Anything that makes the mom feel relaxed will likely make them feel relaxed too!

Music stimulates their senses and promotes brain development.
